Confident Rio Ferdinand declares England will win Euro 2020 as he's sure "it's going to be our tournament".
Gareth Southgate's side secured a 2-0 win over Germany to lay the ghost of 1996 to rest and establish themselves as one of the tournament favourites.
They'll face either Sweden or Ukraine in Rome on Saturday's quarter-final, with the Czech Republic or Denmark up next after that.
And with the normally ice-cool Thomas Muller missing a one-on-one chance to make it 1-1 in the last-16 clash, Ferdinand believes it's a sign that football really is 'coming home'.
The former defender believes the draw has opened up and England can win their first major tournament since 1966.
Looking back at the Muller miss after the final whistle, host Gary Lineker declared "it was at that moment you thought, 'it's England's day'.
But the former Manchester United star was prepared to go even further as he's ready to say the Three Lions will go all the way.
Ferdinand insisted: "I said to you, this feels like it's going to be our tournament.
"I don't want to jump the gun but things are just happening and falling into place for us, you need a little bit of luck.
"You've got to ride your luck at times in tournaments like this and we're getting those little bits but also we're making our own luck.
"We're hard to beat."
