Rio Ferdinand cannot understand Rob Holding's full-time Arsenal reaction vs Leeds

Rob Holding's celebration after Arsenal's draw with Leeds left Rio Ferdinand dumbfounded.

The Gunners were held to a 0-0 draw by Marcelo Bielsa's side, although they were very lucky to leave Yorkshire with a point.

Leeds' dominated the contest and created a whopping 25 chances to score, although only four of their efforts ended up being on target.

Part of that dominance was down to Arsenal being reduced to ten men when Nicolas Pepe was given his marching orders for headbutting Ezgjan Aliokski five minutes after the restart.

After seeing off the relentless Leeds charge, Gunners centre-back Holding pumped his arms in the air in celebration of the team's achievement.

That act baffled Ferdinand, who told the FIVE YouTube channel: "I saw [Rob] Holding when the whistle went, delighted and fist-pumping.

"I can understand that but I’m sure they will be looking for more because they were very fortunate to come away with a point because Leeds opened them up on numerous occasions.

"They couldn’t believe their luck.

"When Leeds came off that pitch, they were trudging off thinking, 'How the hell have we not won that game.'"

Arsenal's failure to score against Leeds was the fourth time they've failed to find the back of the net in their last five outings.

Ferdinand is worried by the Gunners' drought, adding: "They’re not firing.

"They can’t get Aubameyang going, they can’t get him scoring after he signed the new deal.

"He hasn’t set the world alight at all. He was on fire before that.

"They haven’t got that fluidity which we’ve seen before with Arteta’s team. Things aren’t coming off for them, they need to get it right quick."

Arsenal will be back in action on Thursday night, travelling to Norway to take on FC Molde in their fourth Europa League Group B match.
