Ringrose and Porter among returning Leinster stars for URC opener

Garry Ringrose and Andrew Porter are among the Leinster players who make a timely return from injury for the province's URC opener against the Bulls at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday (5.15pm).

Ringrose, who had been rehabbing after a shoulder operation, and Porter (foot) have made a return to full training this week, along with Dan Leavy (knee), Ciaran Frawley (shoulder) and Nick McCarthy (foot).

However Harry Byrne, who this week was named among the 50 selected by Andy Farrell for a one-day Ireland training camp yesterday, misses out on the Bulls game with a minor foot injury, while Josh Murphy also has a minor calf issue and sits this one out.

Conor O’Brien, Jamison Gibson-Park, Max Deegan and James Lowe all came through last weekend's pre-season clash with Harlequins as they made their return from injury.

Last year's PRO14 winners will be without Jordan Larmour (groin), Dave Kearney (ankle), Michael Milne (calf), Will Connors (knee), Thomas Clarkson (hamstring), Tommy O’Brien (hamstring) and Jack Dunne (ankle).
