Ringo Starr And Paul Mccartney Collaborating On New Charity Project

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are actively involved in the music industry.

Two iconic members of The Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, are still actively involved in the music industry, continuing to write, record, and even tour. Recently, there has been an exciting announcement regarding a potential collaboration between the two legendary musicians.

Starr's son, Zak Starkey, a talented drummer, took to Instagram to share details about a new charity musical project he is working on. He revealed that both his father and McCartney are involved in this endeavor.

The project involves a cover of the rock band T. Rex's song 'Children of the Revolution,' featuring vocals by Axl Rose, bass by Duff McKagan, drums by Ringo Starr, and piano by Elton John. Slash also contributed guitar to the track.

This charity cover of 'Children of the Revolution' will be auctioned off to benefit teen cancer. Starkey emphasized that no major label is involved in the project, as one company sought a large share of the funds in return for participation.

Additionally, Starkey hinted at a larger project in the works, mentioning that it is a full album with a lineup of performers that includes 'more than one Beatle,' among others. This strongly suggests the involvement of both McCartney and Starr in the album.

The last known collaboration between Starr and McCartney was in 2023 when they worked on the single 'Now and Then,' considered the 'last' Beatles song. This unique track was created using artificial intelligence technology, incorporating recordings of John Lennon and George Harrison.

McCartney also featured on Starr's latest EP, showcasing the enduring musical bond between the two surviving Beatles members.
