Police have appealed to the public to help trace a 12-year-old boy who went missing in West Yorkshire over the weekend.
Riley Maltas has not been seen since 8pm on Saturday when he went missing from a home in Morley, Leeds.
He is described as 5ft 4ins tall, slim, with short brown hair and glasses.
His sister Georgia made a desperate appeal on social media to help find her missing brother, and said that he had recently lost his mum.
She wrote on Facebook: "He is 12-years-old and has been through a lot we lost our mum a few months ago.
"He was last seen in Morley on the 9.5.20 at 8pm at his foster placement.
"This is not like Riley and totally out of charachter. It has now been 24 hours
"Someone must have seen something or know where he is our family is extremely worried sick if anyone knows anything please message me."
Officers said he was last seen wearing grey jogging pants, a blue T-shirt, white trainers, and a green camouflage style jacket with a sheepskin collar. He has links to Leeds and Baildon.
Detective Inspector Richard Holmes, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Riley’s welfare given his young age and the length of time he has now been missing.
“It is out of character for him to go missing like this and we urgently need to hear from anyone who has seen him or who has any information that could help to trace him.
“We are continuing to carry out a range of enquiries to find him and ask that anyone who can assist with any sightings or other information contacts us immediately.”
