Now the singer, 31, enjoyed a secret trip to Winter Wonderland without anyone in the British capital recognising who she was.
The Love The Way You Lie hitmaker made the most of the market stalls as she chowed down on hot dogs and churros in the lead up to Christmas.
RiRi’s assistant Tina Truong blew her cover with a montage of Instagrams as she tried to hunt down her friend after she lost the singer in the sea of people at the Christmas-themed market.
She wrote: "Tag @badgalriri tell her to find her child at the churro stand." (sic)
But quickly, the assistant recovered her famous friend and she shared a triumphant snap of the fashion icon covered up outside the hot dog stall.
"Lmaooo found her y'all," she added.
Rihanna had managed to go unnoticed among the crowd with a scarf concealing half of her face and her hood was pulled up over her head.
It's no wonder she took a secret trip to Winter Wonderland as a resident Londoner.
The singer confessed she enjoys "walking round the block" in London yet she manages to go undetected by her swarm of fans.
RiRi shared she managed to keep the fact she had made the move from the states to London a secret by keeping it "a little incognito".
She told The New York Times in recent months: "When I go walking, I try to keep it a little incognito."
