Rihanna says she didn't mind Anna Wintour asking if she planned to get pregnant soon

Rihanna has addressed a question posed by American Vogue's Anna Wintour about her pregnancy plans. In a video interview Wintour asked the November Vogue cover star about her plans to start a family.

In the video, Wintour asked, "Do you hope to have a baby soon," and Rihanna said, "I don't think about stuff like that but g-d's plan - I look forward to all of the pregnancy rumors after this interview."

Speaking to Extra at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, where she appeared to promote her new coffee table book Rihanna by Rihanna, the singer said she didn't mind the question.

"A lot of woman get very defensive. It’s personal, it’s our bodies, and of course it’s our time, and it’s not necessarily everyone’s dream to be a mom... but it’s mine, so I’m fine" she said, "Anna just wants to know what the people want to know.”

Rihanna also called her recent Vogue cover “unbelievable” and said, “I can’t believe that Anna Wintour wanted me on her cover, like, once, much less six times.” She also proved that she returns the adoration, saying, “To see her be so supportive - it’s great to see us supporting each other, and it’s always an honor."

Rihanna has been dating billionaire businessman Hassan Jameel since 2017 and reportedly moved to London to be closer to him.

Pregnancy rumors were sparked in September of this year when Rihanna walked the red carpet for her charity the Clara Lionel Foundation and spoke with Essence Magazine. "I’m a black woman. I came from a black woman, who came from a black woman, who came from a black woman and I’m going to give birth to a black woman," Rihanna said.
