Whether they’re covered by S&M-lite python straps (Miley Cyrus) or purple sequins (Rihanna), both women have ditched their usual style formula of oversized T-shirts and hotpants – with legs in focus – for the dressed-up glamour demanded by a gala occasion. Ford, resplendent in a bow tie and svengali-like velvet, clearly approves.
