Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty has unveiled a new range of love-inspired lingerie just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Last year, the global superstar revolutionised the lingerie industry with the launch of her size-inclusive brand Savage x Fenty, offering fashion-forward pieces in sizes 32AA to 44DD in bras and XS to XXXL in underwear.
Today, the singer has officially launched a new collection of pieces designed specifically with Valentine’s Day in mind.
Giving fans a sneak peek on her Instagram, Rihanna modelled a hot pink, sheer bra adorned with love hearts and stars paired with over the elbow red velvet gloves, captioned: “For the love of X. Get ready for @savagexfenty’s Valentine’s Day styles – out Jan. 9th!”
The 23-piece collection features three distinct sets – hearts in ‘caviar’ and ‘pink’, embroidered lips in ‘goji berry’ and hearts embroidery in ‘blush’.
Featuring everything from sheer bodysuits and heart-shaped nipple covers to lace bralettes, babydoll cami dresses and high-waisted thongs, the range is designed to be worn “whether you’re married, single, engaged or ‘it’s complicated’.”
Staying true to Savage x Fenty’s size-inclusive promise, the pieces are available from 32A – 44DD in bras and XS – XXXL in undies and sleepwear.
Speaking to Vogue, Rihanna explained how she’s using the brand to turn wearing lingerie into a message of female empowerment.
“Lingerie is not just about exploiting the female body, it’s about celebrating it and that’s what Savage x is all about,” she said.
“Savage to me is such a powerful word. Especially for women, you know. Women are usually looked at as weak and needy and Savage is just that different woman.
“It is the opposite of that, she powerful, she’s in charge, and she’s taking ownership of all the choices she makes.”
