If you've been anywhere on social media today, you'll probably have seen a photo or two from the Met Gala 2019.
The star-studded fundraiser aims to raise money for the Met Costume Institute and is often likened to being the Oscars of the fashion world.
Each year dozens of celebrities walk the red carpet at the gala, but there are a few people that really steal the show.
One of these is singing and beauty sensation, Rihanna - however she was noticeably absent from the event on Monday, May 6.

People on social media eagerly awaited the Work singer's arrival at the gala, hoping to catch a glimpse of her Camp-themed outfit.
But she never showed, much to their disappointment.
Twitter users quickly proclaimed that the whole thing should be cancelled if she wasn't there.
One person wrote: "If Rihanna isn't attending the Met Gala then cancel the Met Gala."

Another commented: "Rihanna really didn't go to the Met Gala this year. It's okay. I'll be okay. I'll get over this eventually, I guess."
A third joked that instead of attending the bash, Rihanna was just sitting at home playing with her Fenty Beauty make-up range.
And it was this particular post that captured the star's attention and prompted her to respond to all the comments.

The 31-year-old from Barbados, trolled all her devoted fans, by taking a screenshot of the tweet and posting it on her Instagram story.
Alongside this she shared a photo of several Fenty make-up pieces and wrote: "Met Ball 2019" with shrugging and tired face emojis.
So yes folks, it seems she was in fact sitting at home "playing with that f***ing mak-up".

As well as messing with her followers, Rihanna also took the time to post a photo of the Met Gala's chair, Anna Wintour.
The editor-in-chief of US Vogue has been the chair of the event since 1995 and last night wore a pink beaded Chanel dress with a feathery cape.
Rihanna proclaimed that Wintour was the "best dressed" of the night and her post has been liked more than 1,000,000 times.
But it did little to appease her fans, who were quick to tell her that she would have been best dressed if only she'd gone.
Fingers crossed she attends next year.
