Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s family just got even cuter — the pair have welcomed their third baby together, a daughter named Rocki Irish Mayers.
The singer shared the news on Instagram overnight, posting a photo of herself holding the newborn, who arrived September 13, all snuggled up in a soft pink blanket.
She also included a shot of tiny pink boxing gloves tied with ribbons, because even Rih’s baby announcements come with a full aesthetic.
The couple are already parents to sons RZA, three, and Riot, two, but back in July at the Smurfs premiere in Los Angeles, Rihanna — who voices Smurfette — told Extra that her boys were “delighted” about welcoming a sibling.
She also admitted she’s always wanted a girl but said she’d be happy either way: “God knows best, right? And I love my boys.”
The pregnancy was first revealed in May with a portrait by photographer Miles Diggs, before Rihanna confirmed it on the Met Gala red carpet, where A$AP also served as a co-chair.
Speaking to the Associated Press at the time, Rocky called it “amazing” to be expecting again, adding the pair were “tired of holding that” secret.
For Rihanna, motherhood has always been her favourite role — she previously told British Vogue that she considers it “legendary” and said she doesn’t even remember life before having kids. Now with Rocki in the mix, it feels like another chapter in their already very sweet family story.
