Most people living or working in Bristol will probably agree it's a fantastic city, so it'll come as little surprise that it's attracting swathes of house-hunters from around the UK.
In fact, the city was the most searched-for location outside of London for buyers and renters in 2019, according to one property website.
But this also means housing prices in the city are rising.
In the last year, the price of property coming to market in Bristol rose by 2.3 per cent - well above the national average of 0.8 per cent - according to Rightmove property expert Miles Shipside.
He said: "Though this is good news for those already on the property ladder, it makes it harder for first-time buyers to get onto it. These are dynamics that are likely to continue, making Bristol a good place to invest."
After Bristol, York and Glasgow were the most-searched for locations for prospective property buyers outside London in 2019.
Bristol also topped the list for most-searched locations for renters outside the capital last year, followed by Manchester and Liverpool.
Within London, the most-searched for place for potential buyers was Wimbledon while for renters it was Canary Wharf.
