The Times Sports Summit 2023 is the first event under the campaign 'Right to Excellence' which will bring together sporting legends, policymakers and game changers, all under one roof. From addressing challenges and opportunities to understanding the role of policy-making, the summit will comprise different panels that explore how sports in India can reach greater heights.
The Right to Excellence - Sports Edition will take place on September 15, 2023 and will see the participation of legendary athletes including Mary Kom, Vijender Singh, Gagan Narang and Deepa Malik.

Post that a fireside chat with legendary boxer MC Mary Kom will give a sneak peak into the life and journey of the six-time world champion and Olympic medal winning pugilist, giving the audience a ring side view of her journey to excellence.
The second panel discussion will be on the topic of 'The business of Sports'. professional boxer and Olympic medallist Vijender Singh and Divyanshu Singh, COO, JSW Sports Pvt. Ltd. will give an inside knowledge of how the sports is operated commercially, to make it profitable for the athletes and the promoters.
Another fireside chat - 'Gamechangers' will follow, this time former Indian cricketer will share his reflections on his journey and achievements.
The summit will culminate with a panel discussion on the topic of 'Women in Sports: Shifting the paradigm'. Wrestler Geeta Phogat, World Championship medallist Anju Bobby George, Mc Mary Kom and former Indian athlete Ashwini Nachappa will discuss the shifting paradigm in women's sports.
