Ridiculously Rich launch festive drinks including snowman hot chocolate and gingerbread latte

Ridiculously Rich by Alana has launched its festive drinks at its cafes in Aberystwyth, Cardiff along with Llandudno and Caernarfon location when it reopens.

Known for its indulgent products, the first of the cafe's festive drinks is a Sleeping Snowman Hot Chocolate, which is a luxury version of the drink topped by a marshmallow snowman with pretzel arms and legs.

It even has little black spots for the eyes and buttons, and an orange triangle for the nose.

The second of the two seasonal offerings to launch is a gingerbread Latte topped by whipped cream and a little gingerbread man.

Both are served in the Ridiculously Rich by Alana bright blue cups, and if you fancy taking your dog along with you, the cafes also serve Puppuccinos in the same cups so they don’t have to miss out.

A spokesperson for Ridiculously Rich by Alana said: “For us, Christmas is about fun and magic so we wanted to combine both of these things to create the most magical and fun Christmas drinks.

“We try and make drinks and treats that both adults and children can enjoy alike and what is more fun than a snowman taking a soak?”

Owner Alana Spencer recently announced she was pulling the business back to its basics and retraining staff because of staffing issues and a number of bad reviews on Trip Advisor, which had the Llandudno café bottom of the area’s rankings.

Currently, only the Aberystwyth café is running as normal while the Llandudno café is only serving coffee and cake, the Cardiff Bay café only open at weekends for coffee and cake, and the Caernarfon café is shut.

The 2016 Apprentice winner explained : “We need to give the customer service we should have been giving from the start.”

The business will be holding a relaunch event at the Llandudno store in a couple of weeks.
