'Ridiculous!' - The Leeds fans fuming as date and time set for FA Cup tie with Arsenal

The date and time has been set for the FA Cup third round tie between Arsenal and Leeds United - and fans of the Championship side are not happy.

The game has been scheduled to take place on Monday, January 6, after the cup tie was selected for live coverage on BBC Sport.

It is one of six games selected for live television coverage in the FA Cup third round, with the games involving Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham also selected.

The game between Arsenal and Leeds will now kick off at 7.56pm, with all FA Cup games kicking off one minute late next month as part of the Heads Up campaign, with the one-minute delay encouraging supporters to think about their mental health.

During the delay, fans will 'Take A Minute' to think about the positive impact 60 seconds can have on their own wellbeing or in supporting a friend or family member.

But the selection of the game for television coverage on a Monday evening has not gone down well with Leeds fans, as can be seen below.

As can be seen above, Leeds fans are not happy about facing travel issues in getting home that night after the game.

Unsurprisingly, these supporters are not impressed with the scheduling of the match.

This will be the first meeting of the two sides since an FA Cup tie in January 2012, when Thierry Henry netted the only goal of the game.
