'Ridiculous!' - Nottingham Forest fans question reported transfer decision

Chema Rodriguez has been linked with a quick departure from Nottingham Forest.

The 27-year-old only signed a two-year deal with the Reds in August, joining from La Liga side Levante.

But Rodriguez has played just five times this season and only started twice in the Championship.

According to Grada3.com, Spanish second tier side Almeria are said to be monitoring the centre-back with a view to making a January move.

Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi can also call on fit again duo Yohan Benalouane and Michael Hefele, meaning he could be tempted to let Rodriguez go.

Reds supporters are unhappy with the rumours, though. Here’s what they’ve been saying.

1898NFFC: This guy looked good last time he played do why get rid?

Kingmonkey: I cant see Dawson having the legs for another season, plus Benalouane is no spring chicken, surely he's gotta feature next season, unless SL has someone else lined up.

Gill Bolus: Ridiculous! We need 4 good central defenders during rhe season, Dawson, Worrall, Figuereido and Chema. Get rid of the rest.

Rory Kerry: Hef and Ben need gone nowhere near as good as these 4, Chem looked good when he's played only form of other players keeping him out.

Kev Ward: Looks decent. Keep him unless they offer good money, which I suspect they won't.

Phil Coker: Looks a tank with a decent left foot. Keep him.
