'Ridiculous' - Liverpool fans send Ben Doak message to Jurgen Klopp after teenager's wonder goal

Liverpool under-19s ran out 4-3 winners in their UEFA Youth League fixture with Rangers earlier this afternoon, with Ben Doak scoring the pick of the bunch for Barry Lewtas' side.

The young Reds had been pegged back to 3-3 during the second half after going down to ten men, though Doak secured all three points towards the end of the contest courtesy of a moment of individual brilliance.

Seemingly out of options with the ball at his feet near the corner flag, the 16-year-old danced his way past three players before taking the time to pick out the bottom left corner of the goal with a fine finish. This piece of supreme skill was another fine moment to add to the teenager's collection of impressive displays since joining the club from Celtic for a fee of £600,000 in July.

His attacking contribution certainly did not go unnoticed on social media, with a number of supporters left excited at the prospect of the young winger one day representing the first-team.

Prior to this solo goal, Oakley Cannonier had earlier scored twice - moving on to seven goals in four matches in the competition this season before limping off before half-time with an injury - with Melkamu Frauendorf also netting for Barry Lewtas' under-19 side, who had Lee Jonas sent off shortly after the interval when leading 3-1.

With Napoli and Ajax drawing 1-1 earlier in the day, Liverpool know a point in Amsterdam in a fortnight will secure top spot in Group A and a place in the last 16 of the UEFA Youth League.
