
A motorcycle rider has been taken to John Hunter Hopsital believed to have suffered injuries to their arm and leg, after a crash at Charlestown on Tuesday morning.
A NSW Ambulance crew was called to the scene on the Pacific Highway near Hillsborough Road around 6.20am, after reports a motorcycle and a truck had collided.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said the rider had been injured and was taken to John Hunter Hopsital for treatment. A Hunter New England Health spokesperson said the man was in a stable condition.
NSW Police were on the scene around 7.20am assisting with traffic control as the road was cleared. Drivers have been advised that there would likely be some ongoing congestion in the area.
