Ricky Gervais has arrived back in the UK in fits of laughter after his controversial Golden Globes hosting gig.
The comedian touched down at London's Heathrow airport with partner Jane Fallon, where he gave photographers a salute.
The 58-year-old left America's biggest stars in shock at the Golden Globes on Sunday night with his outrageously savage monologue.
He insisted Sunday night's appearance would be his last as host, answering calls on Twitter for him to do more by insisting: "Never gonna happen."
As he headed back home he admitted: "I had a blast but thank f**k it's over."
The comedian was spotted at Heathrow Airport with his partner of 35 years, Jane.
He was also followed closely by security while giggling his way through Terminal 5, dressed down in airport-appropriate comfy clothes.
The After Life star wore his classic black t-shirt with a black hoodie, black trousers, black shoes, and a black cap.
Ricky Gervais's latest stint as the host of the Golden Globes left the famous faces in the audience cringing.
The comedian made a number of shocking jokes about some of the most controversial stories of the moment, including jibes at Prince Andrew and Harvey Weinstein.
"Let's have a laugh at your expense," Gervais said at the start of his opening monologue, in which he vowed that the ceremony would be his last time hosting.
"Remember we're all gonna die soon. And there's no sequel."
Gervais last hosted the Globes four years ago, before the #MeToo and #OscarsSoWhite movements shined a spotlight on the underrepresentation of women and minorities in Hollywood.
Tom Hanks , Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett were amongst some of the celebrities who were left shocked at Ricky Gervais' Golden Globes monologue.
Ricky threw a joke at "woke" celebrity culture, which generated some laughs in the audience.
He said: ""Apple roared into the TV game with The Morning Show, a superb drama about the importance of dignity and doing the right thing - made by a company that runs sweatshops in China.
"You say you're woke, but the companies you work for, I mean, unbelievable: Apple, Amazon, Disney.
"If ISIS started a streaming service, you'd call your agent, wouldn't you?”
Actor and filmmaker Tom Hanks raised his eyebrows and pulled a gasped face as he stared towards the floor.
Australian actress Cate Blanchett cringe-laughed as Gervais' made a joke about Jeffrey Epstein's death.
She could be seen smiling reluctantly in the crowd with her eyes closed.
