Rick Reilly challenges Trump to 18 holes for 100K

Rick Reilly, who’s written a new book detailing how Donald Trump has cheated at golf for decades, has issued a challenge to the president.

In a tweet, Reilly says he’ll take on Trump for 18 holes with $100,000 on the line. “As long as we both had rules officials with us and you don’t get to use one of your cheating caddies… You game?”

Reilly tells the Associated Press if he were to win, he’d donate the money to a charity of Trump’s choice.

So far no response from Trump.

In “Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump,” Reilly writes that Trump, his caddie and Secret Service agents routinely move Trump’s ball out of difficult lies, based on interviews with many who have played with him.

The president also has been known to turn in a score that doesn’t exactly account for his mishits, Reilly writes.

“I don’t know much about politics, but I know golf and it really offended me, not as a voter or as a citizen — just as a golfer,” Reilly, a longtime columnist for Sports Illustrated, told the Associated Press.

Trump says his handicap is 2.8.
