Rick and Morty season 7: who is in the voice cast and where to watch in the UK

The new series of Rick and Morty has been released after a world search for new actors to voice the two lead cartoon characters.

Justin Roiland had voiced both the alcoholic genius Rick and his bumbling grandson Morty in the adult sci-fi comedy for the first six series and all 61 episodes up to now.

Hpwever, Roiland was sacked following allegations of domestic violence, although the charges were later dropped.

Season seven began on Sunday night for the cult show which has entered its new era.

Who is in the voice cast?

After Roiland’s exit, a search was underway for actors to voice both Rick and Morty. And there are now two actors in the place of one.

The first episode of the new phase featured a cameo from Hugh Jackman as the three tried to find ways of getting rid of an unwanted house guest.

Dan Harmon co-created the show with Roiland and has stayed on as an executive producer.

Other main cast members have remained the same:

  • Chris Parnell as Jerry Smith, Morty and Summer’s father and Rick’s son-in-law.
  • Spencer Grammer as Summer Smith, Morty’s older sister and Rick’s granddaughter.
  • Sarah Chalke as Beth Smith and Space Beth, Morty and Summer’s mother / Rick’s daughter.
