Richton Park man killed in Harvey shooting

A man was shot to death Friday in south suburban Harvey.

Tony Gilford, 45, was shot multiple times about 8:30 a.m. in the 14500 block of Des Plaines Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy Sunday said he died of his injuries, and ruled his death a homicide.

Gilford lived in the south suburb of Richton Park, the medical examiner’s office said.

Harvey police did not immediately return a request for details.
