Richie Sadlier has been commended as 'a level above' British football pundits after his comments about Red Bull Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain went viral.
The RTE pundit's spectacularly honest assessment of the two sides led to dozens of comments from fans as the video clip gained some 1.9 million views since last night.
In the short clip, Sadlier breaks down why the two Champions League semi-finallists are unpopular with some football fans.
He claimed Leipzig exists as a 'marketing strategy for a drinks brand' as he labelled PSG as 'far worse' in that their owners, the Qatar government, have committed a host of human rights abuses.
As the clip did the rounds and fans began to pay tribute to Sadlier, one UK fan claimed: "This is such a level above anything that we have."
Another fan said: "That is the best 1-minute summary of the club ownership issue I have heard yet."
