Richarlison has sent a two-word message to Everton fans after he was substituted in the second half of their 3-1 loss to Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues were comfortably beaten by Patrick Vieira's squad thanks to a double from Conor Gallagher and a strike from James Tomkins, despite Salomon Rondon bagging his first goal for the club.
The Venezuela international was brought into the game in the 58th minute as he replaced Richarlison, to which the Brazilian appeared to react angrily.
Rafa Benitez later revealed that the forward had made him aware of an injury at half time but wanted to stay on the pitch, before the manager quickly made a decision to replace him.
Everton fans chanted the name of the 24-year-old after the decision, and he has responded with a simple message to supporters.
Taking to Instagram in the aftermath of Sunday's match, he wrote: "Stay strong."
The caption accompanied a picture of Richarlison with Anthony Gordon, but not from Sunday's game against Crystal Palace.
Everton will hope the Brazilian's injury will not keep him out of Thursday's upcoming clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues then facing Leicester at Goodison Park the following Sunday.
