Richarlison sends four-word message to Everton fan as Tottenham speculation continues

Everton star Richarlison has responded to a supporter amid reports linking the Brazilian with a move away from Goodison Park this summer.

Football.London's Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold r eported on Wednesday the London club are 'hopeful' a fee will be agreed between the two clubs within 24 hours. This comes as the Blues face Financial Fair Play problems and it is hoped a deal can be struck before Thursday's deadline.

The article adds Richarlison is currently on holiday and would have to return to England in order to complete his medical.

A supporter took to social media in light of the reports, saying: "Whoops! Just told my lad that it looks like Richarlison is going to Tottenham. I cried the same when Lineker left (showing my age a bit there)."

To which the forward replied: "Stay happy my friend."

Richarlison has been a key figure for the Blues since he arrived from Watford in 2018. Last season alone, he scored 10 goals and registered five assists in 30 Premier League appearances.

He's about to enter the final two years of his contract, which expires in the summer of 2024. He's one of a number of stars to be linked with a move away this window and has reportedly attracted interest from various Premier League sides, however it seems Spurs now comfortably lead the race for his signature.

A report contradictory to the one shared by Football.London comes from BBC journalist Alistair Magowan, who says the Blues are under 'no pressure' to sell the player before tomorrow's deadline. However, funds raised from any potential deal would aid the club's recruitment this summer.
