Richarlison misses out as Anthony Gordon named in Everton team for Sheffield United

Anthony Gordon will make his first Premier League start of the season tonight as Carlo Ancelotti brings him into the Everton side to replace Richarlison.

The Brazilian misses out on the trip to Bramall Lane after suffering an apparent concussion in the defeat to Manchester United on Wednesday night.

Jordan Pickford returns in goal with Mason Holgate coming in to replace Seamus Coleman, who drops to the bench.

Holgate plays alongside Michael Keane, Yerry Mina and Ben Godfrey at the back.

Alex Iwobi. Abdoulaye Doucoure, Tom Davies and Gordon make up the midfield with captain Gylfi Sigurdsson playing in support of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Ancelotti has, once again, named two goalkeepers on the bench with both Robin Olsen and Jonas Lossl among the subs.

Jonjoe Kenny, Cenk Tosun, Niels Nkounkou, Bernard, Andre Gomes, Coleman and Jarrad Branthwaite make up the options in reserve.

Everton: Pickford, Holgate, Mina, Keane, Godfrey; Iwobi, Doucoure, Davies, Gordon; Sigurdsson, Calvert-Lewin

Substitutes: Kenny, Tosun, Nkounkou, Bernard, Gomes, Coleman, Olsen, Lossl
