  • Mr Tice defended the analogy, stating that Sir Keir is “authoritarian| and that using such anecdotes can be effective.
  • Interviewer Nick Robinson called the comparison “offensive”, arguing it was inappropriate to liken the prime minister to 'one of the worst autocrats on the planet'.
