Richard Sherman leaves game vs. Rams with apparent arm injury

The 49ers can’t escape the injury bug. Cornerback Richard Sherman leaned in for a tackle early in the fourth quarter and appeared to hurt his right arm on the play.

He was slow to get up and was favoring his right arm as he walked off the field and went to the medical tent. Dontae Johnson finished the series for the 49ers.

There’s no official word on Sherman’s status. We’ll provide an update as soon as we have one.

Update

Sherman returned to the game on the Rams’ next series.
