Richard Roeper’s ‘Countdown to Gold’: Best supporting actress

The Academy Awards released in early January a list of women whose diverse acting range had earned consideration for best supporting actress. Some are new to the scene, others are established Oscars veterans. Who has a long shot at winning? Who has an edge over the competition?
