Richard Madeley has come under fire from Good Morning Britain viewers for his questioning of Sir Keir Starmer.
The Labour leader was on the show to discuss potential exclusion zones for those who campaign against vaccines and spread lies and falsehoods outside schools.
However, Mr Madeley swiftly changed the conversation to ask Sir Keir about inner-party politics regarding his and Angela Rayner's working relationship.

Mr Madeley focused his question on Angela Rayner's controversial comment in September where she described Conservative MPs as "scum" at a Labour conference reception.
At the time, Sir Keir responded to Ms Rayner's comments, saying: “It’s not the language I would have used.
"Angela and I talk every day. Of course, we have huge agreements and disagreements.”
Raising the topic again, Mr Madeley referenced an article that appeared at the weekend that suggested Sir Keir was 'sidelining' Ms Rayner in favour of Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves.
However, Good Morning Britain viewers took umbrage at Mr Madeley's phrasing of his question.
Mr Madeley said: "Is it true, as it was reported in several Sunday newspapers yesterday, from well place sources that you are now sidelining Angela Rayner because of her comments about Tory scum, that you found those embarrassing and obviously in the light of the terrible events that happened two Friday's ago incredibly poorly timed and that you're keeping her out of sight and bringing other people forward.
"Is that true?"
Sir Keir said: "No that's not true, every Sunday I get all of the newspapers and faithfully go through them and read lots of things that are apparently happening but bare no relation to the truth."
But Mr Madeley landed in hot water with viewers when he said: "So she's still your best girl is she?"
Reacting on Twitter, one viewer said: "Is she still your best girl" Peak Partridge for Richard there."
