Richard Madeley threatens to walk off after interview with Ant and Dec descends into chaos

Richard Madeley jokingly threatened to walk off twice during his interview with Ant and Dec as it quickly descended into hilarious chaos.

He and wife Judy Finnigan made a triumphant return to This Morning today, giving viewers some serious deja vu in the process.

However things turned a little turbulent when they had to jump into a buggy, driven by Richard, to head down to the Saturday Night Takeaway studio.

"I'd better make sure I don't run down the cameraman," Richard quipped as he steered it down towards the duo.

Eventually, they made it to the studio to sit down and chat to the pair.

But Richard was a little put out that he wasn't on the show reel clip for their iconic prank game Get Out Me Ear.

"Right I'm walking off," he said teasingly as he got up, but quickly sat back down.

Towards the end of the interview, Richard asked them about the rumours they would be taking part in their own sitcom.

"We’ve talked about sitcom for years but we’re hesitant to do it," Ant replied. "We’re not going to rush into it."

Richard didn't dissuade their fears, however, and went on to say that the audience could laugh in the studio during filming but it could pan on screen.

Ant joked that they wouldn't bother then.

Finally, Richard randomly asked them: "What do you think about fish pie?"

Ant and Dec burst into laughter and as he tried to say that the next segment was about making fish pie, he stood up and joked that he would walk off again.

Oh Richard...
