Richard Madeley's pretend row on Good Morning Britain ends in chaos

Good Morning Britain was thrown into chaos after host Richard Madeley started a pretend row with co-host Ranvir.

The pair were debating whether it's rude to recline your seat when flying on a plane.

They took part in an airplane skit after Gemma Collins previously argued with a passenger on a flight who put her chair back, reports Devon Live .

However, the ITV show's set descended into chaos as they acted out a heated scenario.

Ranvir pushed her chair back quickly and knocked water on Richard's lap, to which he responded: "Thanks a lot. Cheers. You soaked me."

However, as the presenters stood up to return to the desk there was a massive bang.

Richard then attempted to divert the situation by saying: "Pretend it didn’t happen. It didn't happen."

Ranvir responded: "Something terrible has happened."

Richard then jokingly accused Ranvir of knocking over the plane seat, as she admitted: "We've ruined the set now."

Love Island star Kady McDermott and TOWIE's Bobby Norris appeared on the show to debate the subject.

Kady said: "I think aircraft when they were being made they put the recline button to be used. I’m going to take advantage of that button.

"Maybe not if I’m going to Ireland. If I’m flying to Dubai seven hours I can’t sleep upright.

"I don't like flying and I need to have a doze if I’m feeling panicky. I’m only 5ft 3 so it doesn’t really bother me."

Bobby, who appeared on TOWIE alongside Gemma Collins, said: "I do agree. Reclining for me for short hall flights shouldn't be a function. I think airlines should lock the seat.

"You should be a courteous passenger when you’re travelling. You don’t need to use it. I’ve seen people have rows on planes. Have tea and coffee spilt on them. With boiling water it's really dangerous."
