Richard Madeley's daughter Chloe praised as she strips off to show her blossoming baby bump after being 'scared' to share snap

Chloe Madeley has been praised and supported by her fans after stripping off to show her pregnancy body. She and her husband James Haskell revealed back in February that they were expecting their first child together.

The 34-year-old, who is the daughter of presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, also shared the happy news in an Instagram post. Sharing a video montage that featured pictures from ultrasound scans and selfies during her pregnancy so far, Chloe simply captioned: "Little one," alongside a heart.

James also shared the same video to his own Instagram page and said: "Chloe and I are so excited to announce we are expecting our first child! From the moment I saw her and heard her little heartbeat I fell in love! Lets hope she looks like her Mum."

Former rugby star James, 37, had already enlisted the help of his father-in-law, Good Morning Britain presenter Richard, to help make the exciting news public. Appearing live on the ITV news programme, Richard said he had a 'personal question' for their guest. When the time came, James replied: "Well Richard, Chloe and I are expecting our first child. We're are going to be having a little girl and you are going to be a grandfather once again!"

A picture of Chloe, while holding up a pink, fluffy sleepsuit, appeared on screen as she stood with her mum Judy, 73, who was holding a set of scan pictures. A beaming Richard commenting: "That's when she gave us the news, Judy looks so happy doesn't she?"

Now, the couple are edging closer to becoming first time parents with the new arrival due within weeks. Ahead of welcoming their first child into the world, Chloe shared a photograph of herself in the nude, showing off her bump.

Heavily pregnant Chloe could be seen looking out over a green garden without an inch of clothing on her body with only her blonde locks covering her breasts. She was encouraged to post after she had been asked by an Instagram follower if she was ‘excited to get back in shape’ after having her child."

"Because the answer is yes," she wrote. "I am extremely excited to rehab my body postnatally; my core, my pelvic floor, my glutes, everything that has had to shift, make way and change for my little potato will need to be rehabbed and nursed back to health." She added: "I am excited to PATIENTLY watch my physique change again, too."

Earlier in the post she revealed how she had been 'scared' to post the beautiful image. "I’ve also had this photo in my camera roll since early June, and I love it," she penned. "But I’ve been too scared to post it in case people think it’s overly confident, or in case they make something of mine that I think is beautiful, ugly.

"Funny that, isn’t it? The fear of sharing a positive relationship with your body is matched on either side of present day love and acceptance, or later date goals to evolve, because so many will project onto it their negative opinions. So screw it, celebrate your body, even if it doesn’t fit the trend right now."

And Chloe was quickly heaped with praise. @just_yvonne_neill said: "Beautiful photo, inspiring words. Enjoy your bundle of joy when it arrives and enjoy all the changes that will come with that internally and externally." @nic1_8_7_4 wrote: "Fantastically said... & that is a beautiful picture, a treasured memory of what our amazing bodies can do in growing a human."
