Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley addressed claims from viewers that he was being "ganged up on" by Susanna Reid and Dr Hilary Jones.
Richard clashed with Hilary on the show earlier in the week over their differing thoughts on an end to coronavirus restrictions, and whether the vaccine was enough.
But some viewers took this debate as the doctor and Susanna "ganging up on" the guest presenter.
Richard was quick to put the claims to bed on Tuesday's show, bringing it up in front of his co-stars who were pretty confused.
While it wasn't clear what the comments were as the tweets weren't actually shown, Richard claimed they were on Twitter.

He said to them both: "Apparently, according to Twitter, you two are ganging up on me."
Hilary added: "We're ganging up on you..." before giving a disapproving look, with Susanna also not in agreement.
Richard then revealed: "But you're not, this is a debate. We need to have a healthy debate."
Susanna then quipped: "Yeah, except you have got the Prime Minister and the government on your side Richard! We're just from the sidelines."

Richard joked: "I cannot lose if I have got Boris on my side!"
Earlier in the show, Richard was challenged by Susanna as he confessed he backed Johnson over his latest announcement.
The Prime Minister confirmed plans on Monday that from July 19, most of the coronavirus restrictions in England will be scrapped - including social distancing and mask wearing.

With Covid cases still rising across the UK, as the Delta variant continues to spike, there is concern it is too soon to be axing almost all limitations and restrictive measures.
Susanna agreed with this view, and shared her concern about masks being ditched in crowded spaces - but while Richard said he'd most likely still wear a mask for now, he backed Johnson all the way.
He said he agreed it was time to try and get back to normal as "if not now, when", before suggesting the vaccine alone was enough.
Richard said we were a "nation of two halves" but also he and Susanna were "a programme of two halves".
He said to Susanna: "You think we're going too fast too soon. I think I'm with Boris on this, I am not always with Boris but I think if not now, when?"
Susanna confessed: "I feel very wary about the fact we are getting rid of masks. We discussed this yesterday and put it to our viewers, and by the end of the programme it was 50/50."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
