Richard Madeley mocks Charlotte Hawkins in hilarious modeling throwback video on Good Morning Britain

Presenter Richard Madeley wasn't full of compliments for co-host Charlotte Hawkins on Good Morning Britain today.

The host, who has been standing in for Piers Morgan over the Easter break, mocked Charlotte over a hilarious throwback video of her modelling on This Morning, which Richard used to present alongside wife Judy Finnigan.

The 62-year-old turned to Charlotte on Wednesday's show and said: "You were on This Morning once weren't you?"

Instantly in a fluster, the 43-year-old responded: "I was, I was just thinking that as it was the first time I had ever appeared on television," before pleading to ITV producers, "Please do NOT find it! No!"

Charlotte begged producers not to show the clip (ITV)

She then explained her stint on the programme to Richard and Susanna Reid: "While I was at university I had to model raincoats on This Morning!"

As Charlotte cringed, show bosses played out the clip in which she looked almost unrecognisable.

She said: "I can't believe you've just done that."

Before Richard joked: "You look as if you've been out all night. You look hungover, pale, drunk."

Charlotte laughed at his comment adding: "I was at uni at the time so I probably had been...I was trying to do the mean and moody as you walk down the catwalk look."

Today was Richard's last day on GMB as viewers will be able to welcome back Piers on Monday.
