Richard Madden is spending a pretty penny on lockdown accommodation, splashing tens of thousands of pounds in rent in Los Angeles – but at least he has some good company to enjoy the comfort with.
According to The Sun, the 33-year-old Scottish actor is renting Game of Thrones co-star Emilia Clarke’s two bedroom LA home to the tune of £20,000 per month.
And he is said to be on lockdown in the Californian city with Teen Wolf star, 22-year-old Froy Gutierrez – with the lads likely to be stuck together until mid-August as the US state has announced coronavirus lockdown procedures will continue for another three months.
Richard might be hoping 33-year-old Emilia will be offering mates-rates on the rent, which would be costing him tens of thousands over the coming weeks.

A source told The Sun: “Richard flew back to LA a few weeks before the lockdown started after filming the new Marvel film, The Eternals, in London.”
They continued: “Since then he’s been living in Emilia’s old house because it is really nice and is the perfect place to isolate.”
And it sounds like the Bodyguard actor is just glad to have some friendly company in the luxurious home.

The source said: “He really hit it off with Froy and he’s pleased to have company while stuck inside. As he is already spending a fortune on the property, he wanted someone to enjoy it with.”
It is believed Emilia bought the two-bed pad in 2016 for a cool £3.8 million, and has been renting out the property for the past two years at £20K per month.
Richard was due to hit the big screen as all-powerful superhero Ikaris in the hotly anticipated Marvel film The Eternals in November this year, however the coronavirus pandemic has seen the movie release date pushed back to February 2021.

Fortunately, the film completed filming in February this year, before the coronavirus put the film and television industry into an indefinite hiatus.
Filming took place in the UK and the Canary Islands.
While the all star cast includes A List stars Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek, while fellow British stars Gemma Chan and Kit Harrington are also due to feature in the blockbuster.
