Richard Jefferson buries the Knicks with new detail about viral bottle-flip moment

Back in December of 2016, the reigning NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers trolled the hapless New York Knicks by attempting water-bottle flips in the middle of a blowout win at Madison Square Garden. LeBron James actually dove onto the floor when he threw the bottle too far away.

Former Cavaliers player and current ESPN commentator Richard Jefferson tweeted early Friday morning that the team went all out partying in New York the night before the game, “knowing that was still going to be the final score.”

Cheer up Knicks fans! At least you got the …. *checks notes* … third pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
