St Johnstone have banished Richard Foster after a training ground bust-up with manager Tommy Wright.
The former Aberdeen, Rangers, Bristol City and Ross County full-back was not in the squad that twice came back to claim a point against Hibs on Saturday.
It’s believed Foster’s three-year Perth career is hanging in the balance. He is understood to have reacted furiously to Wright during a session last week – triggering the club’s disciplinary procedure.
Now the St Johnstone vice-captain, who has clocked up more than a century of starts under Wright, could be on the hunt for a new club.

It’s not the first time Foster, 34, has found himself in hot water at McDiarmid.
He was fined four weeks’ wages in 2017 after a high profile scrap on the pitch at Hamilton with teammate Danny Swanson.
Both players, who were red carded, accepted their punishment for bringing the club into disrepute and were given a reprieve.
But after this latest incident Foster – who is contracted through to next summer – looks set to be on his way out of Perth before the transfer window closes next week.
St Johnstone and manager Wright have declined to comment.
