Legendary presenting pair Richard and Judy have fuelled speculation of a presenting comeback on This Morning after they returned to the show on Monday.
The husband and wife duo, famous for anchoring the hit ITV show in the 90s and into the 00s were back on familiar turf to be interviewed by another married couple - Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford - as they take over from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby over summer.
Richard and Judy, whose ages have shocked viewers, joined Eamonn and Ruth to talk about their long-running Book Club, which has been going for 10 years now and their 'Search for a Best Seller'.
Richard said they were expecting a lot of novels to come in for the competition, with many people putting pen to paper over lockdown.
But, while their This Morning return was brief, it had some viewers at home thinking and hoping they'd soon be back on a more permanent basis, just as producers announced more guest presenters to replace Phillip and Holly.
One fan tweeted: "Bring back Richard and Judy! Let them take over the show. Love them!" and another reacted: "Just bring back Richard and Judy permanently. Best presenters on TV! Or at least let them stand in when Phil and Holly are off. The rest pale in comparison."
Others are convinced Richard and Judy being on the show wasn't a coincidence, with one reacting: "I wonder if Richard and Judy will be presenting on Fridays?!"
