Richard Agar's Jackson Hastings admission following Leeds Rhinos' defeat to Wigan Warriors

Leeds coach Richard Agar highlighted Jackson Hastings as a key difference in the Rhinos' defeat to Wigan.

Hastings scored one try and created another as the Rhinos fell to a third straight defeat, while Wigan notched their fourth win in as many games.

It was another impressive outing from Hastings, who has got up to speed quickly since his late return from Australia.

The 2019 Man of Steel was in fine form with the boot as well on the night and Agar said: "I think he's a wonderful player, tonight he was a big difference between the teams.

"We're looking at four tries to one and the involvement he had in Wigan's tries, he's the guy who probes around and looks like he has so much time on the ball.

"A couple of times he saw Jack (Broadbent) plug in really late and kick the ball for Zak.

"I just think he's a player that's got such a good feel for the game.

He probes around, he moves his team about, but when it's time to really impose himself on the game he's got that feel on when to interject himself and come up with some plays. He came up with the defining plays tonight."
