Rich Paul shares heartfelt remembrance of Kobe and Gianna Bryant

Just prior to the Los Angeles Lakers taking the court last night during an emotional evening with the Portland Trail Blazers, Rich Paul shared a heartfelt remembrance of Kobe and Gianna Bryant on Instagram. The CEO and Founder of Klutch Sports Group thanked the Bryant’s for embracing the game we all love with passion and determination.

While sending prayers out to Vanessa and the rest of the Bryant family as well as the others who lost their lives, Rich offered the following.

I just want to say THANK YOU. Thank You for embracing the game we all love with passion and determination. Thank You for giving us all the example of what it’s like to never quit. Thank You for expressing true professionalism every step of the way. Thank You for being the husband and father you were to your wife and kids.

Thank You for always embracing me the way you did. Before I was anybody, you treated me as if I was somebody. Thank you for the encouragement, you always expressed to me how proud you were to see me challenge the status quo. Thank you for getting back up after every fall.

Thankful for my conversations with GiGi, if I only could have made it to one of her games.  In life things happen that are just unexplainable, this is one of those. I’ve been through a lot and don’t get emotional about most but this was just too much!

God, I will never question your presence will forever be a blessing! I’m sure my mom is asking if you are hungry and my dad is trying to give you the game. My grandma Ruth is making you a quilt, and my Grandma Johnnie Mae is asking how does GiGi know how to play basketball so good and amazed by how beautiful her hair is. Lol.

Obviously there’s so much to say, with so many conversations to reminisce about, but I will end it with a simple Thank You!!
Prayers go out to Vanessa and the rest of the Bryant family as well as the others who lost their lives.

RIPKobe
