Rich Paul says he ‘doesn’t want to run the Lakers’ or any team

Although the tentacles of Rich Paul and Klutch Sports have been all over the latest moves of the Los Angeles Lakers, Rich Paul has no interest in running the Lakers or any team for that matter.

Paul was a guest on Sirius XM NBA radio and was asked if he was actually running the Lakers, just as many assumed that he was doing when LeBron James was a member of the Cavaliers. And of course, Paul refused to say that he was doing anything other than representing his clients. He also went as far as to say he would never want to be a general manager or president of basketball operations.

Paul’s reach as the head of Klutch Sports is much wider than just the Lakers franchise, with players on almost every NBA team. However, he did say he would be interested in buying a team as his client and close friend LeBron James is also interested in.
