"The music industry has obtained at least 871 federal subpoenas in the past month to go after people who illegally trade music over the Internet," reports Mercury News. "The Recording Industry Association of America is seeking subpoenas, at a rate of 75 a day, to force Internet providers to release the names of customers suspected of downloading bootlegged songs online."
