Ria Lant: Belfast police appeal for help finding missing girl last seen in Fortwilliam Park

Police in North Belfast are appealing to the public for help to find a missing girl last seen in Fortwilliam Park.

Ria Lant was last seen in the park at 5pm on Sunday, January 9. Police confirmed she is under the age of 18, but could not reveal her exact age at this time.

She is described as being 5’8” in height and of medium build, with black and blue shoulder-length hair and green eyes.

Ria was last seen wearing black clothing with a white body warmer. She was carrying a white handbag and a black backpack.

Posting on social media on Monday, January 10, North Belfast Police shared a photo of Ria in a bid to help members of the public identify her.

An accompanying statement from North Belfast Police said: "Can you help?

"We are appealing to anyone who may have seen Ria or may know of her whereabouts to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 1360-09/01/22."
