Rhondda Cynon Taf Pride 2022: Date, time, line up, location and entry

Rhondda Cynon Taf Pride is returning to the Welsh Valley to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community in RCT and beyond, through an exciting weekend of activism, entertainment, and community.

The weekend-long celebration will feature several acts and performances from popular drag artists and local musicians. Additionally, food and pride stalls will all be available to browse and enjoy. Here's all you need to know about the event:

Musicians and drag performers will be entertaining crowds at the event (RCT Pride)

When is it?

RCT Pride takes place on July 16-17, with the site open from 11am to 10pm. Local MP and charity patron Alex Davies-Jones will open the event when acts begin at 12pm.

Where is it?

The Pop Factory Porth, Jenkins Street, CF39 9PP.

How much is it?

The event is ticketed, however, entry is completely free.

Who is performing?

Organisers boast almost thirty performances over the weekend. Heather Peace, star of Waterloo Road, London's Burning, and Eastenders will be performing a mix of fan favourites and new tracks with her band. Other acts include 2021 BBC New Comedy Award shortlisted drag comedian Lady Bushra and Welsh drag king Justin Drag.

The event will be hosted by Tammy Paxton, Kit Hulu, and Deeno Dick
