RHOC's Rachel Lugo makes new career move after new man reignited passion

Rachel Lugo has embarked on an exciting new career path after her new beau reignited her previous passion for fashion.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star, 47, has teamed up with Manchester-based fashion brand Blake Mill as she takes on a new project away from her TV work.

Rachel has spent the last few weeks designing something very special for her new beau Nick after deciding to turn her passion into a reality.

The reality TV beauty has decided to create something truly special for her man as a way to express her love for Nick.

Rachel has created a shirt, called Paradise Found, which is inspired the Maldives – where she and Nick spent their first holiday together.

She said: "Nick and I shared our first holiday together in the Maldives, neither of us had ever been before and I honestly felt like I’d arrived in paradise.

"I was in absolute awe of the beauty below the water, everywhere I looked there was something utterly amazing. The beautiful coral, the turtles, the sea horses all of which I’ve incorporated into this shirt.

"I love how from a distance the shirt looks beautifully made in a stunning colour but as you get closer you then start to see all the tiny details that lie within the pattern."

Rachel recently rekindled her romance with Nick after a rocky ending in the last RHOC series.

She was previously married to John Lugo, but the pair split after 24 years of marriage and she now hopes to take her romance with Nick slowly.

After their rocky time, Rachel insisted to The Sun she and Nick are "stronger" after having a "big conversation" about their fallout.

She said: "I think we obviously had to have a big conversation about why my head is where it's at and it's nothing to do with him. It's to do with my previous experience that's all."

When asked about marriage, Rachel said she would "love to say yes" but is in a "different mindset" now to where she was a year ago after facing her fear of rejection.

She explained: "I have a massive fear of rejection, and that all stems back from when my mum left when I was nine and certain things stay with you."

Despite Rachel not being ready for marriage and the pair not living together just yet, she said her beau "completely gets" and "accepts" her.

She gushed: "He's so supportive and so loving, he's just amazing."
