It has been reported that the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be heading to Australia for a group trip soon — so excuse me while I go throw the nearest glass of wine.
That’s right, the stars of the hit Bravo reality series are apparently headed our way for what will mark the franchise’s first-ever cast trip Down Under, with Herald Sun reporting the ladies are booked in for a visit somewhere in Victoria.
The publication claims the cast — comprised of Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John and newbie Rachel Zoe — will arrive in Victoria later this month, as part of the currently filming 15th season of the show.
Per Herald Sun, Bravo is currently in talks with a Victorian tourism body to discuss where exactly the cast will go, but I’m sincerely hoping they at least catch an AFL game at the MCG and pay a visit to Gina Liano while they’re at it.
The reports are groundbreaking in that no US iteration of the Real Housewives — from Potomac to Atlanta to the batshit insanity that is Salt Lake City — has ever visited Aussie shores. But the RHOBH gals have certainly made up for it with other cast trips throughout the years.
Over the course of the show’s run, the cast have caused absolute mayhem on group trips to Italy (the site of *that* Denise Richards exposé), Mexico, Dubai and Amsterdam, the lattermost of which spawned a Lisa Rinna wine-throw moment that lives in pop cultural infamy. DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE HUSBAND!
While it’s not yet known exactly where they’ll head in Victoria, as a Housewives fan, I’d be remiss not to suggest some itinerary items for the girls.
For starters, they simply must try a Bunnings sausage sizzle, not just for the culture, but the invaluable footage that is a bunch of uber-wealthy Hollywood women chowing down in a carpark.
Then, they can go bin chicken-spotting and cap the trip off with a clothesline-hung goon sack. Talk about the Ultimate Girls Trip!
Needless to say, but wherever they head in Victoria is destined to be left in state of pure chaos and I, for one, will be strapped the fuck in. Now excuse me for a moment while I continue to refrain from TALKING ABOUT THE HUSBAND!
