Rhian Sugden spent her weekend in hospital as she prepares to have two 'suspicious looking' moles removed from her abdomen.
The model and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant told fans the news on Instagram.
She shared a selfie of herself in a hospital gown before going under the knife to have the body blemishes removed.
Captioning the snap, the 35-year-old explained how she was spending her Sunday as she showed off her red lingerie.
The beauty appeared in high spirits and she posted: "Not so glamorous today! I’m getting some suspicious looking freckles/moles removed this morning. Wish me luck for a normal result."
Rhian is expected to undergo the op on Monday.
Worried fans were quick to wish her well after the visit to her local hospital.
Rhian and her husband Oliver Mellor said earlier this year they are desperate to start a family and they have turned to IVF in a bid to finally conceive.
The couple were dealt the devastating news at the beginning of last year that their second attempt of IVF hadn't worked.
"After getting so far on our second round it was really heartbreaking to find out it hadn’t worked. It broke me," she told The Sun.
"It ruined Christmas for us both and it has been really difficult to deal with - especially for me having all the hormones injected and placing all my hopes on one egg.
"Infertility is something that isn't really spoken about, and is something men and women shouldn't be ashamed of."
However, her honest and open conversations about her struggle to conceive have meant she's been subjected to trolls, who told her she "didn't deserve" to have kids.
"I've come forward to talk about my IVF struggles and I've also started a blog to talk about it and I've actually helped quite a lot of women," she shared.
