With Rhian Brewster set to join Sheffield United for £23.5million, the 20-year-old striker is poised to become the eighth most expensive sale in Liverpool’s history – despite having not yet played a Premier League game.
The deal, which is understood to include a 15% sell-on fee as well as a buyback clause which will be valid for the next three seasons, represents yet another negotiating masterstroke from Anfield transfer guru Michael Edwards.
