Rhian Brewster, Bobby Duncan and every Liverpool pre-season squad number revealed

Two games down in pre-season and Jurgen Klopp has once again used Liverpool’s early friendly outings as an opportunity to take a look at some of his squad’s younger players.

With a number of first teamers yet to report back after international duty, the likes of Bobby Duncan, Yasser Larouci and Paul Glatzel have all been given their first taste of senior action for the Reds.

There will be further chances for the next crop of Liverpool starlets on tour too, with Klopp set to name his squad for his side’s visit to the United States next week.

And with the Reds issuing squad numbers for pre-season fixtures, there have been a number of changes to Liverpool’s first team squad list, numerically at least, despite the lack of major signings.

Alisson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have already changed their own numbers from 2018/19, taking over the number one and number 15 respectively.

Meanwhile, the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Roberto Firmino have become synonymous with their own squad numbers, with their squads numbers both featuring in each player’s respective chant.

Rhian Brewster traded 57 for 24 before even kicking a ball for the club at the start of last season. In contrast, Trent Alexander-Arnold has retained his number 66 shirt since breaking into the team in 2016.

So what numbers have Liverpool’s latest youngster adopted?

Fresh from winning the FA Youth Cup last year, Duncan and Glatzel have taken on 56 and 63 respectively while Larouci has adopted 65.

Elsewhere, Canada international Liam Millar has been issued with 45, Adam Lewis has adopted 46 and goalkeepers Daniel Atherton and Vitezslav Jaros are donning 61 and 75 respectively.

And while Liverpool’s squad numbers for 2019/20 are not yet finalised, new signing Sepp van den Berg doesn't have a squad number yet for starters, this is the Reds’ full allocated squad list as things stand.
